The equipment is for measurement of the relative properties in a sample body composed of stone material, fine parts, filler and bituminous fluid, and placed in a hot furnace. The furnace temp. is successively increased over a range between 50 and 250 degrees Centigrade. A temp. probe is placed on or in the material whilst the furnace is being heated up, and the furnace has instruments for recording the deformation and decomposition temperatures. In this latter case, a recorder is also provided. - An alarm is incorporated in the furnace to attract attention should heavy damage to the sample take place, as is also a withdrawable loading fitment for the sample bodies.
