In the case of a compact-switch installation having gas insulation, fuses are in each case arranged in a fuse housing and have a signalling button at the rear end. Each signalling button acts on a tripping arm when a fuse trips, said tripping arm acting on a disconnection mechanism of the switch installation by means of mechanical, hydraulic or pneumatic transmission, which disconnection mechanism trips the switch. In this case, the control means are guided via an insulating connecting tube. The replacement of a fuse is simple because there is unimpeded access to the end of each fuse housing, which points towards the front of the compact-switch installation and is covered by a cover. |
