摘要 PURPOSE:To achieve an easy discovery of abnormality by a method wherein a normalized constant determined in the division of a mean signal by a detector signal is multiplied by the subsequent detector signal and a computed value for comparison determined in the division of the absolute value of the difference between the resultant normalized signal and the mean value by the mean signal is compared with a rated neutron detector signal. CONSTITUTION:Detector signals fed from a plurality of neutron detectors 1 with an average circuit 12 through a cable core 9 are averaged to determine a mean signal. A normalized constant setting adjustment circuit 15 divides the mean signal by a single detector signal to determine and hold a normalization constant for normalizing the detector signal to a mean signal and multiplies a detector signal fed subsequently by the normalization constant to output the results as a normalization signal. A comparator circuit 16 determines an absolute value of the difference between the mean signal and the normalization signal from the normalization constant setting adjustment circuit 15 and divides the absolute value by the mean signal to determine a computed value for comparison, a value normalized to a rated neutron detector signal output. The computed value is compared with the allowable range of a neutron detector output with respect to the rated neutron detector signal preset.
