PURPOSE:To reduce the load of a host computer by forming a page memory enabled to write character patterns, picture patterns and image information as dot images. CONSTITUTION:The titled page printer is provided with a page memory 9 storing character patterns, picture patterns and image information as dot images. A main processor 4 receives and interprets form information sent from the host computer and then a subprocessor 5 writes the contents of the form in the memory 9 as dot images. Subsequently, the processor 4 receives data to be printed out which are sent from the host computer and then the subprocessor 5 writes the data in the memory as dot images. The memory 9 executes overlay of the data and the form. Thus, the load of the host computer can be reduced. |
