PURPOSE:To provide simple installation of a mast using ropes, by mounting a metal fitting to the mast, threading the metal fitting with ropes, each of which has one end tied with either side of the hull, by binding these ropes together, and by detaining it at the bow. CONSTITUTION:A metal fitting 9 is fixed to the mast 3 of a yacth 1. Ropes 7, each of which has one end tied with either side 4 of the hull at the nearest points from the mast 3, are threaded through a hole in said fitting 9, and bound together, and this joined rope 8 is fixed to a detainer 5 provided at the bow. Thereby fixation of ropes 7, 8 for installation of the mast 3 can be made simply using the fitting 9 on the mast 3.
