Antitheft box enabling a store equipped with an electronic monitoring device to have an article transferred to the till without risk by the customer himself. The invention relates to a box which is capable of containing an object which cannot be protected by electronic marking, nor by means of an electromagnetic label. The enclosed object can only be taken out by the cashier, as the box is sealed by means of a label of the model which is currently used for protecting garments. This box consists of a polyethylene envelope of a thickness of 14/10 mm, cut out according to the principle of cardboard filing boxes. It is equipped with holes intended to allow sealing after closure by virtue of a normal antitheft label. Flap A presses against the front face B after the object to be protected has been put into the "assembled" box. The boxes to be used must always remain assembled. In order to attach the antitheft label, the index finger and the middle finger are introduced in the holes 5 and 6 provided in order to hold the fixed part of the plastic attachment 2 and in order to press with the thumb the movable part 1, intended subsequently to be removed by the cashier by virtue of the devices provided (pliers, magnetic plates, etc.). <IMAGE>
