PURPOSE:To provide a stabilizer bar employable for a bus and the like having a varied total weight, by arranging a movable stabilizer bar connected to an axle at one end thereof in a lateral direction relative to a vehicular frame in such a manner as to be longitudinally moved by a cylinder mechanism mounted to a vehicular body at one end thereof. CONSTITUTION:When load, vehicular speed and vertical acceleration of a rear axle 53 are inputted to a control device, the control device acts to decide carrying capacity and curvature of turn and drive an electromagnetic valve. For example, when the carrying capacity and the curvature of turn are large, the electromagnetic valve is selected to an exhaust side where compression air in a cylinder 24 is exhausted, and a movable stabilizer bar 11 is forwardly moved in elongated holes 16 and 17 through motion of the cylinder 24, thereby reducing an effective length of arms 20 and 21. As a result, a torsional angle of the stabilizer bar 11 relative to an amount of displacement of the rear axle 53 is increased to enlarge rigidity and reduce rolling of a vehicular body. With this arrangement, the stabilizer bar effectively acts against variation in a total weight, and may be employed for a bus and the like. |
