PURPOSE:In a wheel support structure including a wheel hub provided with a brake disc and a bracket for supporting a caliper, to improve oil-tightness by independently providing between the wheel hub and the bracket a sealing member for preventing oil leakage due to rotation of the wheel hub and a sealing member for preventing oil leakage due to twist of the bracket. CONSTITUTION:There are independently provided between opposite surfaces of a wheel hub 4a and a bracket 5 an annular sealing member 13 for preventing oil leakage due to twist of the bracket 5 and an annular sealing member 14 for preventing oil leakage due to rotation of the wheel hub 4a. Accordingly, the sealing member 14 acts to prevent oil leakage due to rotation during a normal running operation, and the sealing member 13 acts to prevent oil leakage due to twist at a center of a shaft support portion of the bracket 5 as generated by abutment of a caliper 6 against a brake disc 8 during a braking operation. Thus, a sealing performance relative to rotation and twist may be improved, and accordingly oil-tightness may be improved. |
