PURPOSE:To speedily set a paper and largely enhance accuracy in feeding the paper at a printer part, by providing a pair of tractors equipped with paper guides and a paper presser capable of being opened on one side. CONSTITUTION:The paper is fed out by belt pins engaged with sprockets 18, 21 so that the paper is moved on the tractors 16 integrated with a guide plate. The paper presser 23 for preventing pin holes of the paper 1 from being disengaged from the belt pins 22 is provided at its central part with slots 26 in which the belt pins 22 can be moved, and can be opened substantially perpendicularly by a spring 24 with an opening part directed in the direction of a paper cassette. When the paper presser 23 provided on the opposite side of a paper-setting direction and a pressure plate 9 faced to a printing head are opened to the opposite side, the belt pins 22 of the pair of tractors 16 are exposed. The paper 1 is drawn to a position on the guide plate 7, the perforation 6 of the paper are engaged to the belt pins 22 of the tractor on the opposite side, and then the paper presser 23 is returned to its original position, thereby setting the paper. |
