Method of releasing clamp connections of the sliding-arch support system, and release gear for carrying out the method

Clamp connections arranged on the sliding-arch support system are released by means of a holder which can be used on the back of the support sections and is braced against the support sections in combination with straps or hooks at least partly enclosing the overlapping support sections. To avoid the use of additional hook arms, hook bolts or special clamps, provision is made for the holder to be screwed onto the screws (of extended design) of a clamp connection and to be fastened on these screws, and for the clamp connection to be unlocked by releasing the nuts and to be finally released from the support after removing the holder.
