In a non-return valve which, even in the blocking position, has a pressure-medium connection, the throttle cross-section of which is adjustable, the valve body is designed as a sleeve and is arranged so as to be displaceable on an adjustable spindle. The spindle serves as a control edge for the flow medium passing through out of bores in the sleeve. The adjustment of the throttle cross-section can thus be carried out with very simple means, and the construction of the non-return valve is simplified. <IMAGE>
