A cultivation system for pot plants contains pallets for receiving the pots and an associated loading, transfer and unloading station. The pallet consists of a support plate with openings, under which baskets with openings in the bottom plate and cutouts in two opposite side walls are fastened. Placed loosely on the bottom plate is a base sheet with a central opening and a wedge-shaped bevelling on the underside. The loading, transfer and unloading station contains a stationary unloading wedge, via which the pallets are drawn away, as a result of which the base sheets are raised and with them the pots located thereon, which are lifted out of the baskets and onto a lift- off plate, while the unloading wedge rises along the cutouts. From the lift-off plate, the pots fall onto an inclined chute, from which they slide into the openings of the prepared next pallet. Guide rails on the chute are at the same time moved to and fro transversely and guided in such a manner by a sensor scanning with guide grooves of the next pallet that the pots are guided to the correct positions of the openings of the next pallet.
