In the case of an electrical contacting device for the detachable connection of two electrical conductors which may consist especially of aluminium, a pressure-loaded contacting intermediate layer (5) is provided which, with projecting parts, penetrates an oxide layer which is formed on the surface of the conductors (1, 2). In order to obtain a permanent, detachable connection of the contacting device, the contacting intermediate layer (5) consists of an electrically conductive material which is harder than the conductor material. <IMAGE>
