<p>The jaw model enables the dentist to show his patient all the possible works, before executing them, of preservation treatments or partial prosthesis which the patient eventually will have to go through, so that the patient knows exactly what the intervention of the dentist will be. The support (1) of the jaw model is provided with openings (2) wherein may be inserted removable pins (3) corresponding substantially to the roots or the roots carrying corona rests. The jaw model allows to show a cast corona (6), a partial prosthesis (12) with interleaved connection part (11) with uni-or bilateral free rear piece (23), an occlusion slide (13), a porcelain bridge (16), a porcelain corona (17), a pivot (18), as well as a gold inlay (20). By means of a porcelain corona (21) with extra coronary slide (22) and occlusion slide (13), as well as with a hook with retainer arm, wedging arm and occlusion bearing, it is possible to explain the holding of the partial prosthesis (12). The support (1) of the jaw model, the pivots (3) and the parts of the preservation treatments and/or partial prosthesis (6, 11, 12, 13, 16, 17, 18, 21, 22, 23, 28) are appropriately made of synthetic material. </p> |
