PURPOSE:To form continuously a corrugated pipe, whose inside surface is smooth and outside is provided with a spiral protruded stripe, by a method wherein a spiral bent belt to be formed is wound around a tubular body spirally and the spiral bent belt is cooled and stiffened by making pressure welding and fusion adherence of the spiral bent belt to an imaginary cylindrical rotary shaft body by a pressure roll touching face to face with the imaginary cylindrical rotary shaft body, around which a flat tape made of thermoplastic resin is wound. CONSTITUTION:A tape B made of thermoplastic resin is supplied along a spiral direction at an inclined angle and wound so as to stride over a spiral protruded stripe 6 formed on an imaginary cylindrical rotary shaft body 1 with a protruded stripe, and at the same time the tape B wound beforehand and the tape B made of the thermoplastic resin to be wound afterward, which are made to wind so as not to overlap each other, are made to adhere through pressure by a pressure roll 13. Then an obtainable spiral bent belt A is led to the upper part of an imaginary cylindrical rotary shaft body 10. A tubular body D is formed on the rotary shaft body 10 by winding a tape C made of thermoplastic resin, which is melted by heating, in a spiral state so that the tape C wound beforehand and the tape C wound afterward are overlapped each other. The tubular body D is pressed by a pressing roll 16 touching face to face with the rotary shaft body 10 and received while the spiral bent belt A is being made to cool and stiffen by making pressure welding and fusion adherence of the spiral bent belt A on the tubular body D. |
