Lock for attaching a case or the like to a motorcycle-side frame

In order to achieve matching to the different types of motorcycle-side frames to which corresponding cases are to be attached, a lock is proposed in which a pressure component which is arranged perpendicularly with respect to a lock ring and has a clamping element which is inserted in a protruding fashion is provided at the end of a lock ring which is swivellable on a plate and can be locked thereto. This clamping element can be rotated in this arrangement in a housing-like pressure component about an axis which is perpendicular to the lock ring. The clamping element is essentially cylindrical and has a plurality of pressure face sections which lie diametrically opposite one another and have a different axle spacing. The individual rotary positions of the clamping element can be fixed.
