PURPOSE:To increase the amplification factor in a simple structure by aligning two buckling beams on the same axis as the stretching direction of an electrostrictive or piezoelectric element, and providing an operating element as an output terminal at the buckling beam. CONSTITUTION:A voltage is applied to an electrostrictive or piezoelectric element 11, thereby adding the displacements of the respective elements, and a buckling beam 12 supported between the element 11 and a substrate 10 is displaced in respective axial directions. The beam 12 is displaced in a direction perpendicular to the displacement applied to one end, and the maximum displacement occurs at the center of the beam 12. Therefore, movable points 14, 15 mounted to correspond to the center of the beam 12 are moved to face, thereby performing opening and closing operations. |
