The apparatus comprises a support wherein a beam (4) with a cranked shaft may pivot about a horizontal axis, the distance between the beam (4) and the oscillation shaft (17) being adjustable. The beam (4) carries supports for the body (supports for the pelvis and the trunk) (5, 6), foot-rests (8) and handles (7) which are secured to the beam (4) and are longitudinally adjustable with respect to the latter. To improve the adjusting possibilities of the apparatus and the axis thereto, the right and left foot-rests (8a, 8b) and/or the right or left handle (7a, 7b) and/or the right and left body supports (5a, 6a, 5b, 6b) are separated and independently adjustable along the beam (4), respectively the beams (4a, 4b). Furthermore, the carrier arm (3) of the beam (4), respectively the beams (4a, 4b), is configured as a bracket and is adjustable along the arm (22) of the articulation (2) which is itself mounted so as to pivot about the horizontal shafts (17) on the C-shaped or L-shaped support (1) of the apparatus. |
