PREPARATION OF CUSHION BODY

PURPOSE:To prevent a surface material from wrinkling by a method wherein the surface material is arranged closely on to the inner wall surface of a mold with a sufficient tension, the surface material is extended to the outside of the mold and the mold is filled with foaming prime liquid for expansion. CONSTITUTION:Surface material 14 is mounted on the inner wall surface of a bottom force 11, the outwardly extended portions of the surface material 14 are drawn in the arrow direction to be mounted closely on the inner wall surface of the bottom force 11 with a sufficient tension. In such a state an intermediate force 12 is set to fix the surface material 14 attached to the inner wall surface of the bottom force 11. Continuously, the prime liquid 15 for a polyurethane foam is injected fully into the mold and then the top force 12 is closed. Then, the prime liquid 15 for the polyurethane foam is expanded and molded in a unitary body with the surface material 14 and then the extended portions of the surface material 14 are wound up and stuck to obtain a cushion body coated solidly with the surface material 14.
