PURPOSE:To reuse keyed-in data or commands so as to reduce the burden of input operations, by temporarily storing the keyed-in data or commands in an input buffer. CONSTITUTION:When a user keys in character strings of data or commands from a keyboard 1 and depresses an ''execute key'', the content is temporarily stored in an input buffer 3. A discriminating circuit section 4 judges whether the content of the input buffer 3 must be cleared or stored under the same condition based on a successively keyed-in content. Therefore, a content inputted just before can be reused by operating the ''execute key'' or ''edit key''. In this way, the burden of input operations, such as data, commands, etc., necessary for making documentation can be reduced.
