PURPOSE:To relieve the load of an exhange by transmitting a signal transmission frame from the exchange while adding a logical address corresponding to each terminal to the frame. CONSTITUTION:To the exchange 1, n-set of terminals 2-1, 2-2,..., 2-n are connected. Each terminal device is provided with a processor, the exchange processing function is divided and the function of a central processing unit 3 is decreased. The exchange 1 has the central processing unit 3, subscriber circuits 4-1, 4-2,..., 4-n and a channel exchange section 5. In transmitting a signal data to one of terminal devices, the data including an address corresponding to the terminal device is transmitted. Each terminal device receives a signal data, compares a preset address to the own terminal device with an address of the signal, and only when they are coincident, the data is fetched. Thus, only one transmission data buffer is used for an outgoing signal of a signal transmission system in the functional decentralized type exchange, thereby simplifying the hardware and the software. |
