PURPOSE:To easily perform maintenance works regarding abnormal phenomena propagation and to improve the accuracy in assuming the cause of an abnormality, by storing knowledge regarding abnormal phenomena propagation expressed in plural forms. CONSTITUTION:The device 1 of the diagram is an electronic computer, the device 2 is a disk, and the device 3 is a CRT terminal. In the device 2 knowledge regarding abnormal phenomena propagation expressed in four forms is stored. The Form 1 is the knowledge regarding exclusiveness, Form 2 is the one regarding inclusion, Form 3 is the one regarding equivalency, and Form 4 is the one regarding causality. By expressing knowledge regarding propagation by using these four forms, maintenance of knowledge can be performed efficiently. By using these knowledge and ''an observed abnormal phenomenon and an assumed causing phenomenon'' inputted from the device 3, the device inspects whether the cause is correct or not. Therefore, maintenance regarding abnormal phenomena propagation can be made easier and the accuracy in assuming the cause of abnormality can be improved. |
