PURPOSE:To facilitate removal of parts out of order and to prevent effect of an unevenly loaded developer by forming a machine body dividable into 2 components of upper and lower machine parts, and providing the upper part with hanging partition walls for preventing one-sided localization of a developer occurring when the upper part is opened. CONSTITUTION:An upper machine body 1 provided with a photosensitive body 3, a developing device 4, etc. and a lower machine body 2 provided with a fixing device 6 and a conveying device, etc. are combined with a hinge 7. Since the body 1 can be released open, inspection of the devices and exchange of parts out of order are made easy, but the release of the body 1 inclines the developing device 4 and localizes the developer one-sidedly. The one-sided movement of the developer in the containing chamber 4a can be prevented by dividing the width of the axial direction of the developing device 4 with partitioning hanging walls 4b. As a result, the release of the upper body 1 does not cause one-sided localization of the developer, thus preventing uneven development. |
