PURPOSE:To pelletize resin by scraping the resin extruded from a plurality of the nozzles of a die by rotating blades. CONSTITUTION:A pelletizing device uses a screw type extruder 1, an extruding die 2, rotating plates 3 and brushing off pawl 4, and the extruding die 2 has the nozzles arranged at a suitable distance. The resin 5 extruded from said nozzles is scraped like a pellet by the rotating plates 3 fixed to the rotating shaft 6 parallel to the die surface, and after the pellets stuck to the rotating plates 3 are cooled, they are brushed off from the rotating plates 3. Thus, the pelletizing is achieved. Before the pellets 5 scraped by the rotating plates 3 are brushed off downwardly by the brushing off pawls 4, they must be cooled, therefore the blowing inlet 7 for cooling air is provided. |
