PURPOSE:To obtain the three-dimensional positional information of many and unspecified objects, by performing the correspondence set of a point caught at an initial position and a point caught at a final position while obtaining three- dimensional positional information obtained by calculating the distance to the object on the basis of the correspondence set. CONSTITUTION:An image processing circuit 11 calculates the coordintes of a corner (a crossing point of two lines) and a curve for forming an image from the data stored in first image memory 13 to store the same in second image memory 14 while the coordinates data of the corner and the curved of the image obtained especially when an image pickup part 1 is positioned at an initial position Po are stored in third image memory 15. The numeral 16 in the drawing shows an operation circuit. The correspondence set of coordinates from the coordinates data of the image when the image pickup part 1 stored in the above mentioned third memory 15 is present at the initial position Po and the coordinates data of the image when the image pickup part 1 is present at a final position PM is performed by said operation circuit 16 to calculate the distance up to the object. |
