PURPOSE:To make it possible to always perform a test with high reliability without an individual difference and to obtain flat frequency characteristics in a wide range of a frequency region, by making it possible to drive a system by the objective value signal of load to be tested in such a state that a variable transmission element is inserted into the system. CONSTITUTION:After a test piece W is mounted, a characteristic research mode is first set and a testing machine is excited by white noise. This excitation is desirably minute enough to exert no influence on the test piece W. The transmission characteristic of a variable transmission element 4 is set to the characteristic equivalent to the inverse transmission function of a system by the excitation due to white noise. In the next step, a testing mode is set and the output from a function generator 1 for generating a load wave is used as an objective value signal to drive the testing machine. As a result, the system having the frequency characteristics shown by the conventional drawing (a) is modified to the system having flat frequency characteristics over a wide range as shown by the drawing (c) by inserting the variable transmission element 4 set to the characteristics shown by the drawing (b). |
