The invention refers to a device for the separation of suspended particles from a fluid. The device is comprised of a cylindrical separation chamber (1) fitted with a tangential inflow opening (3), so that helicoidal liquid flow is acquired, and has an outflow opening in its lower part (10) and a replaceable collector vessel (5). On top of the collector vessel (5) there is a funnel shaped choke device with a downward pointed mouth (4) located above the inflow opening to the collector vessel (5), which also is fitted with an outflow opening besides the formation chamber's (1) outflow opening (10). The invention is characterized by the mouth (4) having the shape of an outward collar (9) and that the collector vessel (5) is equipped at the top with a collector pocket (6), which shows an upward pointing sleeve coupling or spout, concentrically fitted in the pocket (7), whose upper opening is located under and at a distance from the mouth (4) and whose lower opening leads to the inner of the collector vessels (5).<IMAGE> |
