PRODUCTION OF SMALL DIAMETER FLUX CORED WIRE FOR STAINLESS STEEL

摘要

PURPOSE:To obtain a small diameter wire without softening and annealing stages by packing a flux in a stainless steel hoop having a prescribed sectional shape then subjecting the hoop to wire drawing with processing. CONSTITUTION:A stainless steel hoop of 30-65L/T (where L; the width of the hoop, T; the thickness of the hoop) is formed. A flux is packed in the hoop and thereafter the hoop is formed and wire drawn to >=0.9t/T (where t; the thickness of the wire skin of the final product). The small diameter wire is thus obtd. without softening and annealing.
