PURPOSE:To miniaturize the titled mechanism, to increase an amplification factor and to reduce cost by constituting the titled mechanism by a displaced and amplified buckling beam and an arm having length of at least half or more of the buckling beam and mounting an operating element as an output terminal to the arm. CONSTITUTION:A buckling beam 8 is installed at one end of an electrostrictive or piezoelectric element 7 mounted to a substrate 6 forming a box body on the same axis as the direction of extension of the element 7, and another end of the buckling beam 8 is supported by the substrate 6. A mechanism such as a screw 9 is set up to the substrate 6 so as to adjust the initial displacement of the buckling beam 8 and function as a back stop. On the other hand, an arm 10 extended from one end support section of the buckling beam 8 is mounted, and a printing needle 11 as an operating element is fitted at the nose of the arm 10. These buckling beam 8, the arm 10 and the substrate 6 can be manufactured through a press punching method, an etching method or a wire cutting method and can be done at low cost. Each displacement is added by applying voltage to the electrostrictive or piezoelectric element 7, and displacement 12 is applied to the buckling beam 8 in the axial direction. |
