PURPOSE:To display a discount independently in each POS terminal to perform transaction by storing change price information on a file in responding goods name information to price information and providing a clock means to supply a time. CONSTITUTION:The operator inputs a department code (or a code corresponding to a goods name or goods) from a keyboard 2 or a fixed scanner 3. On a basis of this code, a main control part 1 indexes a file 8-1 and refers to time information. The main control part 1 checks whether this transaction goods is the object of price change or not and the time is in a time zone of price change or not. If this goods is the object of the price change, the main control part 1 issues an indication to a time discriminating part 7 and asks the part 7 to discriminate a file which should be accessed at the current time, and the file is accessed. A file 8-2 is accessed, and the price in this time zone for the transaction object goods is read and set, and the calculation of the total is started. |
