Knee-joint bandage with a downwards tapered knee-sock (1) made of an elastic material, which shows a transverse holding device (2) which carries a supporting strap (3), characterised in that the holding device (2) is to be found on the face of the knee-sock (1) approximately in the middle of its height and that the supporting strap (3) supports the knee-cap (10) from below.
