PURPOSE:To expand the range of a measuring target by a chromatocapillary tube by decomposing thermally and successively the components developed in the capillary tube while running a carrier gas from one end of the tube and detecting the generated gas by using a gas chromatograph detector. CONSTITUTION:While the respective components I, S, B developed in a thin layer chromatocapillary tube consisting of, for example, a quartz tube C packed therein with silica gel is heated successively from the one end of the tube C by using a heater 1, the gas from a carrier gas source 2 is run in the tube from the other end. The gas formed by the thermal decomposition is fed to a gas chromatodetecting part 3. The signal from the part 3 is inputted via an amplifier 4 to a recorder 5, by which the peak waveform of each component is recorded. The target components developed in the tube C for which there are heretofore no suitable color and which are not adaptable to analysis are analyzed by separating first said components in the tube C. |
