PURPOSE:To attain quick operation and high accuracy of synchronous drive control by counting a reference pulse of a rotating phase section, calculating a shift from the synchronism and controlling the number of revolutions. CONSTITUTION:Selection indicating signals 16, 17 obtained from a rotating phase pulse 2 are inputted to an enable terminal EN of counters 4, 5, a micro- processor 8 reads a count value from a counter stopping the count operation and repeats alternately the operation resetting the said counter at each phase period section. The microprocessor 8 compares the count value with an ideal count value in a program memory to decide the difference of rotating speeds. Control information to minimize the speed difference is calculated by an index or program operation from the memory 9, and transmitted to a D/A converter 11 as a digital signal to control the rotating speed of a DC motor 13.
