PURPOSE:To prevent the occurrence of damage such as a burnt dimple, etc. and wear due to contact with a conveying material and increase a service life by fixedly embedding a number of small pieces consisting of a heat and wear resistant material in the required places on the conveying surface side through a buffering layer consisting of an elastic material. CONSTITUTION:In a belt conveyor unit in which a number of small guide pulleys 4 which are extended in the direction of width are provided at certain intervals in the conveying direction and the conveying side of a belt 1 is supported in the trough state by means of the small pulleys 4, the belt 1 consists of a belt body 8, a block body 9, and an intermediary body 10. And, the belt body 8 consists of a core body 12 and back cover rubber 14 with which a pair of right-left edge cover rubbers 13 that cover the both sides of the core body 12 are provided in an integrated form. The block body 9 is formed by regularly arraying a number of small pieces 17 of ceramics, etc. on a base board 16 of an unvulcanized rubber material, and is bonded with vulcanization to the surface of the core body 12 through an intermediary body 10 which constitutes a buffering layer. |
