METHOD AND DEVICE FOR CEMENTING LENS

PURPOSE:To obtain a method which provides good precision and superior productivity by centering a cemented lens mechanically by a member of a device which has a coincident axial center. CONSTITUTION:The 1st cemented lens L1 and the 2nd cemented lens L2 which is centered with high precision are cemented together with a fast adhesive and the 2nd cemented lens L2 is mounted in an unset state on the flat surface part 35a of a suction member 35; and a suction device is put in operation to the lens to the flat surface part 35a. Then, a position adjusting member 37 is moved up by an arm 38 and its tapered part 37a is guided while abutting on the outer circumference of the 2nd cemented lens L2. The 2nd cemented lens L2 moves horizontally while contacting the flat surface part 35a tightly and pressure is applied while balancing with the suction force so that the optical axis of the lens L2 is aligned to the axial center of the suction member 35. Thus, the optical axis center of the 2nd cemented lens L2 is aligned to the axial center of this device.
