PURPOSE:To transfer data between information processing systems after the load of a microprocessor is reduced by transmitting plural input data en bloc and cyclically to the system of the remote side. CONSTITUTION:When a polling is indicated from a microprocessor MPU, a terminal interface part TICS inquires a terminal device whether the data is available or not. If the data to be sent to the side of the terminal device exists, the data is sent to a circuit. The MPU checks the data and gives an indication to the part TICS for transmission of the response data as long as the data has no abnormality. The terminal device receives the response data and sends back a positive answer ACK. Thus the MPU replaces the file contents of its own system on the basis of the data given from said terminal device. Then the procedure proceeds to the polling of the next terminal device. Meanwhile the data received from the terminal device is stored in a transmission buffer. When the polling frequency reaches a prescribed number, the stored data is sent to an information processing system. |
