PURPOSE:To enhance the chemical resistance and oxidation resistance of an ion exchange substance, by using a three-dimensional crosslinked copolymer having a specific structure as an anion exchange substance. CONSTITUTION:A three-dimensional crosslinked copolymer containing 20- 98mol% of polymer units each represented by structural formula (wherein R1 and R2 are hydrogen or an 1-4C hydrocarbon group) is used as an anion exchange substance to perform ion exchange. This ion exchange substance is obtained, for example, by a method wherein a haloacetyl group is introduced into a three-dimensional polymer containing styrenes as polymer units and the obtained acetilated polymer is reacted with 2-aminopyridines. This anion exchange substance is excellent in durability as compared with a conventional commercial product. |
