PURPOSE:To make it possible to easily carry out the replacement of feed cans, by arranging main conveyors for carrying filled cans, in parallel, on the rear side of the frame bed of a drawing frame, two for every one delivery, and as well by connecting an auxiliary conveyor for empty cans, to the front side of the main conveyors. CONSTITUTION:On the rear side of the frame bed of a drawing frame, main conveyors 6A through 6D each of which is disposed thereon with a predetermined number, for example, six, corresponding to a doubling number, of filled cans 5 longitudinally laid in one row, are arranged in parallel, two for every one delivery, and a positive drive type auxiliary conveyor 9 which receives empty cans 8 from the main conveyors and returns them to empty can extracting positions (e, f) lying on the substantially same line as the line on which a filled can feed positions (a through d) on the rearmost side of the main conveyors lie, is connected to the front side of these main conveyors. Further, slivers are fed from filled cans 5 on the main conveyors 6A, 6C while filled cans 5 are fed onto the other conveyors 6B, 6D, and upon the cans 5 being emptied the frame bed is stopped to carry out sliver splice. With this arrangement the replacement of the feed cans may be simplified. |
