PURPOSE:To form a tough lining film having excellent rust preventive power, by applying a corrosion preventive primer to specified thickness onto a workpiece to be coated, and then further applying an air-curing liquid resin composition comprising the specified rates of components. CONSTITUTION:A corrosion preventive primer comprising zinc-rich paint containing epoxy resin or the like as a binder and zinc dust in an amount of 80- 90wt% based on a dried lining film is applied to thickness of about 10-70mum onto a workpiece, e.g. an iron or steel structure, to be coated. Then, an air-curing liquid resin composition comprising 100pts.wt. epoxy resin-denatured unsaturated polyester resin prepd. by bonding unsaturated polyester having allyl ether and carboxyl groups to the epoxy group of bifunctional bisphenol Type-A epoxy resin, 10-60pts.wt. a compressed pigment (e.g. flake glass having thickness of 0.5-10mum and size of 0.1-6mm.) and 0.01-5.0pts.wt. a silane coupling agent (e.g. gamma-glycidoxypropyl trimethoxysilane) is applied. |
