<p>PURPOSE:To remove adhered chips by a method wherein cleaning coolant is jetted when a gap between the working reference surface and a work is reduced to a size capable of cleaning both of them simultaneously and strong side stream is generated immediately before the work contacts closely with the reference surface. CONSTITUTION:The diagram is showing clamp releasing condition in which the hydraulic pressure of a pump 39 is supplied to oil paths 38 for respective clamp cylinders 4 and the coil path 43 of opposite side. When the work pushes a valve opening shaft into a reference pad 3 by the extending of the cylinder 4, the valve is opened and a plunger pump 23 operates, discharging coolant is injected from a nozzle 16 through the groove of the valve and collides against the seating surface of the work to clean it, simultaneously, the working reference surface is also cleaned by the reflected discharging coolant. Thus, adhered chips may be removed immediately before the work contacts with the reference surface closely by generating strong side stream.</p> |
