PURPOSE:To obtain a screw compressor with high performance by forming the center line of a passage connected to a port in a smooth curve with no inflection point, forming the passage wall in a smooth curved surface, and reducing the pressure loss. CONSTITUTION:The center line 22 of a suction passage is a curve with no inflection point but bent in only one direction and connecting the center 20 of a rotor end surface forming a suction port 9 to a center 21 of a suction hole connecting a suction pipe 19 of a separate piece, and the suction hole and suction port 9 are connected to each other with a smooth curved surface having no step and no inflection point to form step surfaces 23, 24. The center line of a discharge passage is a curve with no inflection point and connecting the center 25 of the rotor end surface to the center 26 of a screw hole 17, and a discharge port and the screw hole 17 connecting a discharge pipe are connected to each other with a smooth curved surface having no step and no inflection point to form wall surfaces 28, 29. |
