PURPOSE:To prevent the contamination of a gutter caused by ink mist generated on recording paper and to prevent the contamination of a deflection electrode caused by ink mist generated in the gutter, by doubly arranging ink mist absorbing earth members before and after the gutter. CONSTITUTION:In the carriage cover of a charge deflection type ink jet recording apparatus, ink mist absorbing earth members 91, 92 are doubly provided at the position opposed to a deflection electrode and a gutter 7 is arranged under both ink mist absorbing earth members 91, 92. |
