The machine has a cellular wheel in a casing running round a horizontal axis. The cells are radial recesses, encased at the rim by a housing, apart from a seed outlet, and with a covering inside the wheel to prevent the seeds falling back into the wheel. There is a scraper (12) in front of the edge (10) of the casing (6) at a spacing of at least the max. dia. of the seeds. This is intended to take projecting seeds from the cells into the interior of the wheel. The scraper spacing from the inner casing surface (5) may be adjustable.
