PURPOSE:To facilitate the setting of working condition by a method wherein the working condition, corresponding to four specific conditions of the diameter of wire electrode, the capacity of a capacitor, the material of a work and the thickness of the same, are memorized into a memory. CONSTITUTION:Four specific conditiosn of the diameter of wire electrode, the capacity of capacitor and the material and thickness of the work are inputted by a manual inputting device 3. A control unit 2 is provided with the memory 2i, which memorizes the working condition, a processing unit 2a reads out the working condition corresponding to the specified conditions and, thus, the working condition of the wire-cut electric discharge machine 1 may be set.
