PURPOSE:To provide the titled compsn. having excellent tensile strength and tear strength, consisting of a poly-diorganosiloxane, an inorg. filler, an org. peroxide and a polyhydric alcohol. CONSTITUTION:10-200pts.wt. inorg. filler such as fumed silica, 0.1-10pts.wt. org. peroxide such as di-tert-butyl peroxide and 0.1-5pts.wt. polyhydric alcohol such as propylene glycol are blended with 100pts.wt. polydiorganosiloxane of the formula (wherein R<1> is a monovalent substd. or unsubstituted hydrocarbon group, 0.05-0.1mol% thereof being vinyl group; R<2> is a monovalent group selected from among methyl, vinyl and OH; n is 1,000-10,000). USE:Cushioning material for electrical and electronic parts, packing for various connectors, rollers of duplicators, etc.
