PURPOSE:To provide an additive for dust coal/oil mixture, consisting mainly of a specified compd. derived from a specified bonded polyether compd. or a specified compd. derived therefrom, which is economical and retains stability and fluidity over a long period. CONSTITUTION:The additive consists mainly of (A) bonded polyether compd. having a molecular weight of 1,000-600,000 obtained by adding alkylene oxide to polyalkyleneimine having 7-200 nitrogen atoms and bonding it with at least one compd. selected from among polyvalent isocyanate, polyvalent epoxy compd. and polyvalent aldehyde, or (B) compd. (1) obtained by interaction of a part or the whole of terminal hydroxyl groups of (A) and at least one compd. selected from among sulfating agents, phosphating agents, organic carboxylic acids and carboxylic acid halides, or compd. (2) obtained by oxidizing a part or the whole of terminal hydroxyl groups of (A) with an oxidant.
