PURPOSE:An antifouling agent for fishing nets having low toxicity, exhibiting improved antifouling effect, containing a mixture obtained by blending N-(1,1,2,2- tetrachloroethylthio)-4-cyclohexene-1,2-dicarboxyimide with another compound as an active ingredient. CONSTITUTION:The titled antifouling agent containing N-(1,1,2,2-tetrachloroethylthio)-4-cyclohexene-1,2-dicarboxyimide useful as a germicide, having an antifouling effect on organisms living in water and 3-(3,4-dichlorophenyl)-1,1-dimethylurea and/or 3,4-dichlorocarbanilic acid methyl ester as active ingredients. The mixture of the compound is blended with a spreading agent, pigment, plasticizer, etc., and an organic solvent is added to the blend, which is used as a preparation. EFFECT:Since it contains no heavy metals, it is an antifouling agent of low pollution type, having no fear of environmental pollution, and can prevent polluting organisms in water from attaching themselves by the synergistic effects.
