NEW MATERIAL:A compound of formula I {R1 is lower alkyl, lower acyloxymethyl; [(4-carboxy-5-hydroxyisothiazol-5-yl)thio]methyl, [(2,5-dihydro-6-hydroxy- 2-lower-alkyl-5-oxotrazin-3-yl)thio]methyl, lower alkylthio} and its salt. EXAMPLE:(Z)-7-{alpha-(2-Amino-4-thiazolyl)-alpha-[(2-amino-4-thiazolyl )methoxyimino] acetamide}-3-acetoxymethyl-3-cephem-4-carboxylic acid ditrifluoroacetate. USE:Antibacterial against gram-positive and gram-negative bacteria. PREPARATION:A substituted oxyiminothiazolylacetic acid derivative of formula IIor its reactive derivative is allowed to react with a 7-amino-3-cephem derivative of formula III, followed by deprotection to give the objective compound.
