PURPOSE:To inject fuel depending on the air-fuel ratio, by decreasing the quantity of asynchronous injection in acceleration as the air-fuel ratio lessens. CONSTITUTION:In controlling the fuel injection of an internal-combustion engine, the change DDPM in intake pressure and the air-fuel ratio A/F are read in at a step P21. The period TPASY of asynchronous injection is determined from the change DDPM in intake pressure at a step P22. A compensation coefficient K is determined depending on the air-fuel ratio A/F at a step P23. The period of injection is determined at steps P24, P25. As a result, the injection is effected depending on the air-fuel ratio.
