The invention solves the problem of the complicated assembly of the boom on the mast of a wind-driven vessel by means of clamps fitted on one side, the fitting halves being movably mounted in a suspension arranged in the boom grip. Several embodiment variants of such fittings are presented. Complementary to each variant, suitable clamping devices starting on the bow side at the fitting are proposed.
